Classes
A group of Lawn Mower racers visited Kartington Raceway 2012 and demonstrated speed and raw nerve as they navigated the paved banked tri-oval. DEMONSTRATE only--we want to keep the drivers' SAFE.

Vintage Karts are welcomed on race day and to DEMONSTRATE between race sets. We sure would hate to see these beautiful restorations get wrecked.

Found these 2007 Racers' comments and experiences about the track on the internet.  Observations still very true today! We thought this would give new visiting racers some ideas what to expect. Again, year is 2007.

We traveled to Kartington from Indy once this year.

Man, it was a blast! Great challenging track, nice people and a smooth and quick running show. Almost too quick for us. LOL

I do know they have promoted it quite a bit this year. Not sure why people don't flock to this track. People do seem to prefer dirt these days. Not sure why???

Videos do not do this track justice at all. It has [a] shape, elevation changes and banking that aren't really noticable on the video for some reason. We were totally surprised when we got there and walked the track. We took group of drivers that dominate at our local pavement track. They all had some catching up to do for sure.

Here [ is] a video I shot while there:  2007 Champ Cage Kart

No prob.....i like that video abbett.....look how late the leaders make their entry into turn one......you have to wait till it feels too late then throw it down in there and let er float out to the line in the backstrectch....some days...LOL...sun, clouds, humidity, temps etc, etc, etc make this track hard to get a hold of for very long... definitely fun for all drivers!!
